Herbs
Our herbs are grown locally in Virginia and driven straight from the farm to our store. Nestled in the Virginia countryside, Mamma Bubbles tends a small farm. 'The Mother has blessed us with a wild abundance of native herbs and we have added a few of our own choices to the many gardens. Working in harmony and with respect for nature and our environment we gently gather the gifts, dry them and bring them to share with you. We hope you enjoy the pleasure of the plants as much as we do.'

Herb of the Month

Join our Herb of the Month Club
Each month we will delve deep into a chosen herb, exploring the wise woman use, magick use, crafty/cooking/other uses, taste, touch, feel, smell, and essence of the little beastie. Each class will have printed information on the herb as well as something to take home.
You are invited to join our free online herbal group: Roots and Bones for discussions, further questions, follow-up, etc. We will meet on the Second Friday of every month at Sticks and Stones starting at 6:30. You may attend all months or pick and choose your favorites.
Cost options:
$15 per class
$36 for three classes: choose any three of your favorite herbs ($12 per class)
$60 for six classes: choose any six of your favorite herbs ($10 per class)
Your choices do not have to be consecutive. Call or stop by to sign up.

Triloka Smudge Sticks: small $2.99, medium (6") $6.99, large (8") $11.99

Our Global Shaman smudges contain some of the same sacred herbs that North and South American Shamans use for their sacred purposes. The herbs for our Global Shaman Smudge Wands are gathered by Native Americans, with great care and respect for the environment.

Our Mountain Sage, Cedar, Lavender and Lavender Smudge strengthens and provides new energy in times of mental and physical exhaustion, recharges the energy of indoor and outdoor spaces and provides balance and grounding. Lavender grows in warm, dry climates. It is balancing, refreshing, soothing and grounding.

The White Sage Smudge is the most common incense burning plant used by Native Americans. White Sage (Salvia Apiana) is traditionally used as a space clearing plant, to remove negative energy indoors and out. It supports healing rituals, sweat lodge ceremonies and festivals. Its fresh herbal fragrance rejuvenates the mind and enhances mental clarity and memory.

The Mountain Sage Smudge is used to promote new beginnings, strength, and space clearing. Mountain Sage (Artemisisa Tridentata) also called Desert Mugwort, grows at high altitudes and in arid desert climates. It collects the energy surrounding it and releases it when burned. It strengthens and provides new energy in times of exhaustion.

Our Sage and Cedar Smudge is used to encourage transformation, strength and clarity. Sage and cedar grow at high altitude and carry the energy of clarity and strength which is released when burning. They transform negative vibrations and recharge space with new energy.

In our Global Shaman Native American Gift Set, we include Mountain Sage, Cedar and Lavender, White Sage, and Yerba Santa Smudges.
